"Revontulet" is the Finnish word for the northern lights which translate to "Foxfire" in English , "Fuchsfeuer" in German.
It is associated with folktales depicting a fox (often called "Tulikettu") running north and brushing against the snowy mountains with the tip of its tail causing sparks to fly in the air.
Another possible origin for the word "revontulet", is the word "repo", used by the migrant Forest Finns, which translates to "a spell". Thus, the auroras were spellfires, caused by forces of darkness and light waging war in the sky.

The candles can slightly differ in color and decoration because I always make them in small batches to ensure everything is nice and to minimize waste.
CANDLE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Please trim the wick to 5-10 mm before use. Always cut the wick if needed.
- Only burn candle 3-4 hours at a time.
- Allow the wax to melt evenly to ensure a consistently even burn.
- Only burn this candle on a level heat resistant surface.
- Do not allow the flame to touch the glass.
- Smother the flame, never blow it out. Do not use liquids to extinguish.
- Extinguish when 5 mm of wax remains and do not relight.
- Keep lit candles in sight and never unattended.
